Do you have excess carrots in hand? Then you must check out this creamy carrot cashew milkshake recipe or carrot cashew smoothie recipe!!!

Carrot smoothie | carrot milkshake is a delicious shake prepared with cooked carrots, cashews, sugar, and chilled milk. Carrot cashew milkshake is a rich and creamy shake that is loaded with vital nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. You can try this carrot cashew smoothie for your breakfast or as a mid-morning snack. It is a simple recipe to prepare and the ingredients are already available in your kitchen.

Carrot milkshake is a perfect summer recipe and the chilled carrot smoothie keeps you full and satiated for a few hours. Raw carrots do not work for this recipe, I happened to see a lot of YouTube videos using raw carrots to make this carrot milkshake. But, I personally do not recommend that, so please take some time to cook the carrots before preparing this milkshake.

Additionally, cashew nuts are added to get a rich and creamy texture. You can even add soaked almonds as well to make carrot almond milkshake/smoothie. Also, if you are allergic to nuts feel free to skip it. 

If you like cardamom flavor add a small pinch as it gives a nice aroma to the carrot milkshake. Carrots are naturally sweet so adjust sugar, honey, date syrup accordingly.

Carrot Cashew Milkshake | Carrot Smoothie | Carrot Milkshake Recipe

Recipe - Carrot Milkshake | Carrot Smoothie | Carrot Cashew Milkshake. 


Serves - 2 
Cuisine - Indian. 
Course - Cold beverage.
Diet - Vegetarian.
Cook time - 15 mins | Prep time - 5 mins | Total time - 20 mins.

Carrot milkshake ingredients:


1. Milk - 500 ml
2. Carrots - 2 large carrots 
3. Cashews - 10 to 15
4. Sugar - 2 tbsp 
5. Ice cubes - 5
6. Water - 2 tbsp


Notes:

1. For sweetness, you can use dates, honey, dates syrup, brown sugar, coconut sugar, etc.
2. Raw carrots don't work for carrot milkshake. 
3. Carrot milkshake can be made without any nuts. So feel free to skip it if you are allergic to any nuts.
4. You can use soaked almonds in place of cashews.
5. Vanilla or any flavored ice cream can be added on top. 


How to make carrot milkshake | carrot smoothie | carrot cashew milkshake? 


1. Wash, peel the carrot skin and chop it roughly. 

2. Take a container and add carrots, cashews along with water or little milk.   

3. Pressure cook it for 15 mins. 

4. Take out the container once the pressure is released completely. 

5. Put the boiled carrots, cashews, sugar, ice cubes in the blender jar. 

6. Grind it using little milk onto a smooth paste. 

7. Now add the remaining milk and blend the mixture nicely.

8. Chilled carrot cashew milkshake is ready to be served.
