A strawberry milkshake is a refreshing and delicious shake made from fresh strawberries and chilled milk. I have made this strawberry shake without adding any Ice-cream and whipped cream. So I believe this milkshake is a healthy low-calorie beverage that can be consumed even when you are on a diet.
The natural sweetness and the reddish-pink hue of strawberries that make any dish looks appealing to our eyes. Berries are full of antioxidants, healthy, and nutritious fruit. Do read the health benefits of strawberries which are given below.
Actually, I had made this milkshake yesterday to beat San Diego's summer heat. The temperature was super hot, it just drove us a bit crazy. I and my hubby were so thirsty even after drinking gallons and gallons of water. We both were craving for something cold, so instantly made this strawberry milkshake to quench our thirst. It was super delicious and satisfying. In fact, I'm planning to make fresh fruit juice and healthy milkshakes every day, so stay tuned for more colorful and vibrant juice recipes:)
I would prefer to make my fruit juice and milkshakes with fresh fruits over the frozen ones. In case, if you don't find fresh strawberries, you can prepare this strawberry milkshake using frozen ones as well. Moreover, you can add a scoop of vanilla ice-cream to get a nice thick and creamy restaurant-style strawberry milkshake. But if you want to keep it healthy just follow my recipe:)

Strawberry milkshake Ingredients.
1. Fresh strawberries - 20 to 25 medium-sized.
2. Whole/Full fat milk - 500 ml.
3. Ice cubes - 6.
4. For sweetness* - 4 dates/2 tbsp sugar/2 tbsp honey.
(*Note: I usually avoid artificial sweeteners if the strawberries are naturally sweet).
How to make a strawberry milkshake?
1. Wash, drain and hull strawberries.
2. Place the hulled and chopped strawberries, milk, sugar/dates/honey in the blender jar.
3. Blend the ingredients together until you get a smooth and creamy milkshake. (Note: Do not over blend the ingredients).
4. Strawberry milkshake is ready to be served.
How to prepare a strawberry shake recipe with step by step pictures and procedures?
1. Wash, drain and hull strawberries.
2. Place the hulled and chopped strawberries, milk, ice cubes, and sugar/dates/honey in the blender jar.
