The fruit and nut platter is a healthy mix of fresh fruits and nuts. This colorful combination of fruits is loaded with nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. This beautiful fruit salad is topped up with a variety of crunchy nuts, dried fruits, and seeds as a fruit salad dressing.

Further, either honey or dates syrup can be drizzled over the fruit salad to balance the sweetness of the fruits. Adding honey is completely optional and vegans can totally skip this.

Though it is a simple fruit salad, the main purpose of this post is to inspire my friends, and readers of Pavi's kitchen to start their day by having a healthy and nutritious breakfast. That is the motive behind my food blog.

These gorgeous fruit platter recipes are perfect for all types of season. The fruit-based salad can be enjoyed as a breakfast, mid-morning snack, or as an everyday meal. Besides, this fruit tray is so appealing to the eyes which can be made in large quantities and served in the party as a fruit salad dessert.

For the past two months, I have been consuming this fruit and nut platter as my morning breakfast. It is so delightful to have this fruit and nut platter first thing in the morning. This healthy fruit platter keeps me full and satiated for more than 3 hours which prevents me from eating junk food.

I'm a huge fan of raw vegetables & fruits and make sure I consume at least one raw meal a day. I will soon make a separate post regarding the benefits of eating raw vegetables and fruits over the cooked ones. Moreover, I personally felt a huge improvement health-wise after switching to a raw food vegetarian diet.

This doesn't mean that I stopped eating cooked foods completely, I just simply started including more raw natural foods in my diet. The raw vegetarian foods include fruits, vegetables, legumes, dry fruits such as almonds, cashews, walnuts, pecans, pistachios, raisins, dates, figs, etc.

The fruit and nut platter recipe takes only 10 minutes to prepare and the delicious breakfast is all set to enjoy. This fresh fruit salad is naturally sweet, healthy, and bright.

This fruit platter includes a variety of fruits and nuts. You can easily modify the fruit plate based on the seasonal fruits available in your city. Summer is just around the corner and mango season has already started in San Diego. So mangoes have definitely occupied in my breakfast fruit platter.

Let me tell you how I enjoy this whole fruit platter by myself 😉 Yes, we don't share the plate and each one gets a full plate in our home. So the point is you should eat a whole fruit platter by yourself. So feel free to adjust the number of fruits. The fruit and nut platter is the most perfect breakfast to please your stomach and your loved ones.

In this recipe, I don't mix the fruits instead I chop them into bite-sized pieces and assemble them on a plate and eat as such. For a dressing, I would love to sprinkle a generous amount of roughly chopped nuts and drizzle a tsp of honey for the sweetness. When the fruits, nuts, honey blend together which gives a burst of flavors in each bite. It’s really yummy😋

1. Mango - 1 small
2. Papaya - 1 small/ 2 big slice
3. Banana - 1 small
4. Walnut - 5 chopped.


Procedure - Chop the fruits into bite-sized pieces and assemble them on a plate. Finally, top it up with any of your favorite nuts and honey/dates syrup. (Note: Do not mix the fruits).

4. Pomegranate kernels - 2 tbsp
5. Walnut - 5 chopped
6. Raisins - 1 tbsp
7. Honey/dates syrup - 1 tsp optional

Procedure - Chop the fruits into bite-sized pieces and assemble them on a plate. Finally, top it up with any of your favorite nuts and drizzle some honey/dates syrup. (Note: Do not mix the fruits).

Recently, my spouse has also joined me in this irresistible fruit salad preparation. He usually has oats/cereals/corn flakes with milk for a breakfast.
