Recently, I made a tropical fruit salad recipe with honey-lime dressing for our mid-morning snack. I tried this fruit salad based on the availability of fruits in our nearby grocery store, so you may exercise your choice with seasonal fruits.
I love to try seasonal fruits but mangoes, jack fruit, and papayas are my favorite ones. In San Diego, Ataulfa and Ketit variety of mangoes are available throughout the year but nothing can beat my favorite Indian "Banganapalli mangoes".
I look forward to every summer season to relish mangoes. My grandpa and father used to bring different varieties of mangoes from Parry's corner and the Koyambedu market. We used to eat mangoes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner:)
My grandma also used to make the "Mavinahannu Rasaina recipe" (Mango puree) for Chapati and Poori. I will post the rasaina recipe soon. So now let's get into the fruit salad recipe!

Fruit salad Ingredients:
1. Golden Papaya - 1 small
2. Blueberries - 1 cup
3. Apple - 1 big
4. Mango - 2 small / 1 big
5. Strawberries - 8 to 10
6. Banana - 1 big
7. Pomegranate kernels - Half cup
8. Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
9. Honey - 1 tbsp

1. Wash all the fruits in clean water. Peel the skin of papaya and mango. Chop all the fruits in cube sized pieces and keep them aside. (Note - Chop Apple at the end to prevent oxidation and browning).
