Hi Everyone! It's summertime and I know you must be craving for a chilled beverage to beat this heat. No worries, I'm here to quench your thirst with my delicious dry fruits milkshake recipe. The dry fruits nuts saffron milkshake is made with a variety of nuts blended with whole milk. 

This delicious dry fruits milkshake contains almonds, cashews, pistachios, dates that are loaded with nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. This rich and creamy milkshake gives you an instant energy boost. It is a healthy and nutritious beverage which is perfect for a morning breakfast. Milkshakes are my favorite and check out my homemade strawberry milkshake recipe.

We include these dry fruits regularly in our diet as a snack and sometimes in the form of a milkshake. It is quite easy to prepare and the ingredients required to make this milkshake can be modified as per your taste and preference. 

In this dry fruits milkshake recipe, you can add gooseberries (dry amla), walnuts, raisins, figs, cherries, and cranberries, etc. Dry fruits milkshake is a high-calorie beverage that keeps you full and satiated for a longer period of time. To make the shake healthier skip the white sugar and substitute it with any natural sweetener like dates, honey, dates syrup, etc. Do read the health benefits of nuts given below.  Alright, let's get into the dry fruit milkshake recipe.

Dry fruits milkshake ingredients:


  1. Full fat milk - 500 ml
  2. Almonds - 12
  3. Cashews - 15
  4. Pistachios - 20
  5. Date fruits (Pitted dates) - 5 to 6
  6. Saffron - 2 pinches
  7. Sugar - 3 tbsp
  8. Ice cubes - 4 to 5

Notes: (Please refer to the above pic).


  1. Wash nuts and soak each variety of nuts separately in a bowl of hot water for 30 minutes to 1 hour. 
  2. Soak dates and saffron separately in a small cup of hot milk for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  3. Peel off the almond skin.
  4. Although I have mentioned sugar in the ingredients list, I didn't add any sugar or artificial sweetener. Dates are the natural sweetener. I think it is enough to sweeten the milkshake.

How to prepare dry fruits milkshake:



  1. Combine the peeled almonds, soaked cashews, and pistachios in a blender jar.
  2. Pour the soaked saffron milk with the saffron strands.
  3. Add dates with milk and mix it well.
  4. Grind all the nuts, dates and saffron milk coarsely or smooth consistency.
  5. Then add the remaining milk, sugar, and ice cubes until the milk and nuts blend together.
  6. The milkshake is ready to be served. Top it up with a pinch of saffron and roughly chopped nuts. 

How to prepare dry fruits milkshake recipe with detailed step by step pictures?



1. Combine the peeled almonds, soaked cashews, and pistachios in a blender jar.

2. Pour the soaked saffron milk with the saffron strands into the jar.

3. Add the soaked dates along with milk.

4. Grind all the nuts, dates, and saffron milk until you get a smooth consistency. (Note: You can grind coarsely too).

5. Then add the remaining milk, sugar, and ice cubes until the milk and nuts blend together.

Transfer the dry fruits milkshake in a serving glass and served it chilled. You can top it up with a pinch of saffron and chopped nuts for a crunchy bite.

The delicious homemade dry fruits milkshake was super rich and creamy, the crunchy nutty bits in the milkshake take it to the next level in taste.
